You are bidding on the vintate mid-twentieth century Life-Like brand 50 by 99 inch Landscape Mat seen in the picture!
Life-Like brands, along with Plasticville, were synonymous in hey day of Lionel Trains for creating the ultimate lay out!
Bring some vintage style to your current set up with this authentic old school mat!
New old stock, there are no tack marks or other signs of use for this item!
However, there are some issues of note.  Cleary basement stored, box shows typical signs of wear for its age.  Dusty outside, with both end folds long gone.  Mat itslef has some moderate water and sun damage, please see pics.
Even with the minor to moderate aethetic issues, some things to keep in mind.  One, mat can be cut or trimmed to your liking.  Secondly, one could argue that the sun and water marks give the landscape a more authentic feel.  Thirdly, track and other action stations, etc. will cover most of this mat and can be strategically placed if need be.  Lastly, in the grand scheme of things, the mat is a base background for your set.  Once fully set up, no one will be noticing the color fades etc and your train set up will be the main focus.
Once again, the key here is the authentic vintage mat to combine with your other vintage pieces of Life Like, Plasticville and vintage trains!
