    Shinobue With Root End D
    Japanese Flute
    Part of Japanese Culture for over 6 centuries.
    Made of naturally aged "American" Bamboo
    After drilling and polishing the inside bore of the flute, it is varnished and carefully cut to length. Each note on each flute is then turned with the aid of a stroboscope. Using moisture resistant lacquer, it is dipped so that it is sealed inside and out. This is a lifetime instrument.
    Electronically tuned - capable of an accurate 2 1/2 octave range
