Provenance Note
: This 132 corner grass plot was part of a large vintage Standard Gauge layout / railroad that was built years ago in the Newark, NJ area. The Layout / Railroad contained over 100 vintage toy trains and toy vehicles 1913 - 1935.
Description
: You are looking at Lionel's hard to find 132 Corner grass plot for the 199 Standard Gauge scenic railroad display. This original all steel plot made by Lionel in the early 1920s measures 12.5" x 9" x 9". The Plot has factory green paint with a coating of Lionel factory artificial grass.
Condition
: Overall original good to original very good. The small center hole is factory original. The other smaller holes are
NOT
factory, The small plant which belongs in the center hole is missing.
Also included
: Photocopy of 1924 Catalog page 43 which lists the 132 under "All steel display pieces" and priced at .50 for 1 plot.
